Intuitive EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Intuitive EFT is a powerful healing technique that releases energy disruptions, subconscious blocks, limiting beliefs, and emotional triggers of past traumas. It’s an incredible energy modality that will help you clear, energetically, whatever is standing in the way of your peace, success, abundance, and more. The difference between regular EFT and Intuitive EFT is that Maryann Candito uses the basic principles of EFT to clear using meridian tapping, but combines it with powerful intuitive messages during the process.
The key to effective release using EFT is the ability to zone in on the actual event that is at the heart of the emotional distress, pattern, or energy dysfunction. Many times the client is unaware of what that event may be, but during the session it become clear what the event is, due to “intuitive hits” that Maryann receives during the tapping process.
Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture that is based on discoveriesregarding the connection between your body’s subtle energies, your emotions and your health. EFT removes old, stored up emotional wounds as well as limiting beliefs. EFT involves tapping on meridian points while saying specific phrases.
With EFT, it is not necessary for you to relive all the details of a past trauma or painful memory, but you will be asked to briefly recall the problem event (or core issue). There may be some discomfort in that, but there is no need to relive all of the pain. These memories may contribute to an unwanted emotion, but they are not the direct cause. Therefore, we don’t need to spend time painfully dwelling on them. The direct cause is the energy disruption brought upon by the memory.
Painful memory ==> Disruption in body’s energy system ==> Negative Emotion
So you may be asking yourself, “what if I don’t recall any past trauma or painful memory; however I have limiting beliefs that are holding me back?”
The answer would be that these limiting beliefs started somewhere. It doesn’t mean the core to that limiting belief is a painful memory, it could simply be something a teacher said to you, or events in your environment that instilled these beliefs in you. Even with that being the case the following diagram would accurately represent your situation:

In less scientific terms: By using EFT to release limiting beliefs/painful memories/ingrained habits, we release the emotional charge and by doing so it restores our energy system back to normal function, which then in turn brings us to a better feeling place. According to the Law of Attraction, when we feel better we are more aligned with the Universe to manifest our desires, and therefore we can create more success, happiness, and abundance in our lives.
EFT enables us to free those limiting beliefs that are stopping us from living a passionate and purposeful life. Let’s use fear for an example. When fears or other types of blocks exist, we don’t pursue our passions. We let every reason in the world stop us, or we self- sabotage ourselves. When we get to the root of the fear – perhaps you possess a fear of success – when we dig deep to find the answers of where this fear started, we get to the core issue or issues that led to this fear. We clear the core event, resulting in restoring your energy system back to normal functioning and you will find that fear will no longer be a factor in your life.
